My involvement with administering technology resources as a Band Director was very limited. However, now that I am a Middle School Principal I am having to put into practice many of the issues dealt with in TTD 786 Administration of Technology Resources. Schools are becoming more dependent on technology both in the classroom and in day to day operations. I am quickly learning to identify the importance of being able to evaluate what the essentials are in regard to technology in the classroom and in the office.

One of the projects in TTD 784 was to develop a lifelong learning plan. With this plan I was to set up an educational program for a community. Some of the areas covered in the plan included short and long term goals, funding, use of technology, marketing, determining learning needs, and evaluation of the program. As a part of TTD 755 I developed a powerpoint showing a design overview for school facilities of the future. The design explores the numerous items to be considered when building school facilities.
